SEGAN
A game audio MCP server for agents that can't hear
Audio models return a file you can't edit. SEGAN's tools work on source files instead: the agent writes a kit, a song or a sound effect, SEGAN lints it, renders it and shows it the result as a picture, and every sound in the game comes out matching.
- 22 tools:
write_asset(writes, lints and returns the listen sheet),preview,lint,kit_show,mix_adjust,build,manifest,import_midiand more. - Listen sheets come back as images (piano roll, waveform, spectrogram, loudness), WAVs as audio, so the model checks what it made.
- Resources: the full workflow and notation reference, the project's brief, sound bible and manifest.
- The same JSON as the CLI's
--json: one contract for agents and scripts. - Works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or your own agent. Runs locally over stdio; no cloud, no key.
